7th and 8th graders, I have pushed our test to Tuesday, March 24th - I thought we needed a little more practice. Check out my resources and links here to practice these verbs, and the Prezi below! (Try this link if it is not showing up below.)

In class we listened to this song by Manu Chao to see some examples of opinion phrases. The author lists a lot of things that he likes. We are looking at the lyrics in class. There are three ways to say "I like ___" that you will see in this song.
How do you know when to use each? Can you figure out the pattern by looking at the lyrics? This is especially for my 7th & 8th graders who are presenting their projects. Part of your presentation grade is pronunciation - here are some ways to do that! Do you have another tool you've used? Feel free to share in the comments!
6th graders, learn a little bit about the celebration of Carnaval for some extra credit!
Read articles or watch videos using the "Resources" link below. (There are lots of resources in English and Spanish, so choose something that is right for you!) Answer the questions on the "Assignment" link below. You will need to be signed in to your UDA email account. Enjoy!
Your priorities for class today:
Rewriting "me gustas tú"? Here is a lyrics template and an instrumental version of the song. Ready to turn in your project? If you don't want to present in front of people, you can email a recording to me, turn in a file in my class dropbox, or use the automatic video dropbox below! ¿Te gustan los selfis?
6th grade students are using "selfies" as a quick way to practice physical descriptions in Spanish, and the verb tener. Remember... this is just a short physical description, so stick to what you can see! (You wrote more about your personality and interests in your poem/rap/song project.) You can use the vocabulary "cheat sheet" from class that we used to play ¿Quién es quién? In fifth grade we are practicing our reading skills with a song by Macaco. Many students wanted to hear it again, so I promised to post it! Depending on individual language levels, students did different reading activities with the lyrics (and a biography of the artist) during class. Check out the official music video below, or sing it karayoke style at Lyrics Training Here's a "lip dub" video of the song, created by an elementary school in Spain.
Finish your description
If your description is done...
If you still have extra time, choose one of these...
