If you are learning English in Spain, you are probably learning British English - what you would hear in England.
This is reasonable, since England is closer to Spain.
However, since I am from the United States, my students have already noticed that there are some differences between the words I say and the words in their textbooks. Besides my very American accent, there are some vocabulary and grammar differences... and even some differences in spelling!
